<p>It is an ancient Inca sanctuary dedicated to <strong>Mama Killa</strong>, the goddess of the Moon and protector of the cycles of life. The site stands out for its fine stone carvings and ceremonial architecture, which reveal the Incas’ deep astronomical and spiritual knowledge. Rituals related to the agricultural calendar and lunar worship were performed here, and to this day it maintains a strong cultural connection with Andean communities.</p>
<p>It is an ancient Inca archaeological complex located in the district of Limatambo, province of Anta, in the Cusco region of Peru. It was a ceremonial center and resting tambo on the route to the Chinchaysuyo, built with finely carved stone walls in the Inca style. Its main temple stands on a ceremonial platform (ushnu) and features agricultural terraces and irrigation, reflecting the advanced Inca architecture and organization.</p>
